    At What Age Can I Get My Real Estate License?

    To obtain your license as a real estate agent, you need to be at least 18 years old, although most states do allow younger individuals to hold a real estate license. While this age may seem like a young number, the fact is that this is still quite a young age for becoming a real estate agent. The best way to ensure that you have enough time to complete your education is to start learning as early as possible. It can be challenging to get extra classes while you are in school. You might want to consider online pre-licensing courses.

    In order to obtain a real estate license in Missouri, you must be at least eighteen years old and pass a background check. Additionally, you need to have completed at least 45 hours of pre-licensing education and complete a contract writing course. You also need to submit your fingerprint clearance card and be approved online by the Broker. In addition to this, you also need to complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education every two years.

    Once you have obtained your real estate license, you must complete continuing education hours. If you have any criminal convictions, you may need to complete additional classes to maintain your license. In order to maintain your license in good standing, you must attend continuing education courses at least once every two years. You must have completed a course of real estate to keep it active. You must also take a test to ensure that you have a full understanding of the requirements and laws in your state.

    After completing your education, you will need to pass a background check and pass a real estate exam. Some states don’t require any formal education, while others require some. Most states require you to have a high school diploma. Some states require that you have completed at least four years of post-secondary education. You will also need to pass a criminal background check.
