Why is Vaping so Popular?
This is a question that I find myself asking a lot, and I am sure that I am hardly alone in that train of thought. To some extent, it is a puzzling phenomenon, isn’t it? What has made this activity such an appealing one to all demographics, but especially young people?
A lot of us have grown up in the era of the war on drugs, hearing about how we should “just say no” to all substances, including nicotine and alcohol. And yet, it seems that it was all for not, considering how many teenagers and young adults have picked up vaping! All is not as it seems, though. Let me explain.
Not all vape pens use nicotine, you see. That means that a lot of them are not actually harmful or addictive! It all comes down to the ones that you decide to purchase. What other options are there?
Delta 8 is one of the more popular varieties, since it is often dubbed “legal marijuana.” Obviously, this is a slightly misleading moniker. While it is a type of tetrahydrocannabinol, because it is a man-made one, it is not going to give the same effects as those that come from the cannabis plant. So, while the sensations that we feel are similar, they are not the same.
On a final note, in terms of popularity, the fun flavors probably have a lot to do with it as well. That is probably why there are articles like this one lamenting the popularity of things like Juuls amongst the youth. However, as I mentioned, since not all vapes are harmful there is definitely something to be said about the punchy and fruity flavors offered by most brands!
Disposable Pens: What are They, and Why do People Like Them?
Moving on, let us discuss disposable vape pens. As their name implies, they are a type of pen that gets thrown away or recycled after their use. It may help to think of them like a pack of cigarettes, although they are obviously not really the same. Rather, consider how many puffs you would get from that pack – that is pretty much what you would get out of one disposable pen.
What is the appeal, here? Well, one of the big aspects that people seem to like is that they are easy to use. For example, if you view cake products, you can see that there are no difficult buttons and components to worry about and always need to put together or keep safe. Even if you drop it, there will not be a risk of it breaking thanks to the design.
For anyone who is picky in terms of the flavors that they enjoy using, and want to get some variety, having a disposable option might appeal to you. After all, if you do not like a particular flavor, you can simply order another one. You can also keep changing it up as much as you want, given the vast variety of choices available!
All in all, there is good reason that they have gotten increasingly popular since their advent a few years ago. They offer a nice in between from e-cigarettes to something like a vape box kit. Since the former is typically only offered containing nicotine, and the latter is quite bulky and complex, a middle ground is needed.
What about Delta 8?
To conclude today’s blog post, I want to touch upon this chemical again. You see, it is what I tend to use for my vape pens, since I enjoy the sensations that it gives me without actually getting me “high.” While there are plenty who enjoy the euphoria from smoking marijuana, it has never really been my cup of tea.
However, as someone who experiences chronic pain, I still want ways to mitigate those symptoms in a similar way to that which medical marijuana can offer. I have found that delta 8 can offer that relief, at least to some extent. That is why I use it for my vaping.
In addition to that, it can help to relax anyone who uses it – not just those who need it for medical reasons. So, you may want to check it out, particularly if you struggle with anxiety or worries often. Just double check that it is legal in your state, as there are a few places that its use has been restricted.
